Chef shares a perfect fall recipe

HARRISBURG, Pa. - A local restaurant that places food, music and art in one venue is showcasing part of their "hyper" menu. Chef Lance Smith, with Millworks in Harrisburg, stopped by the FOX43 kitchen to roll out their whole wheat spaetzli recipe. Spaetzli are a kind of soft egg noodle or dumpling found in the cuisines of several different countries including southern Germany and Austria, and Switzerland. Chef Smith made his noodles from scratch and demonstrated how you can incorporate squash into your fall recipe.

Ingredients for a whole wheat spaetzli and roasted fall vegetables:
-Local roasted fall vegetables

- house made daisy mills

- whole wheat spaetzli

- wild mushrooms,

- dried cherry gastrique

- house made ricotta
