YORK, PA. — Apple Car Wash Express washed has been busy since it opened to the public in 2008. This morning, the business reached a milestone with its one millionth car wash. The driver of car #1 million got a special prize: one year of free, unlimited car washes. Bill Downs, of York, can use the prize on both of his family’s vehicles, which were enrolled in the Unlimited Car Wash Club.
“We’ve been coming here for five years. Incredible customer service. They’ve always been helpful with any questions or concerns. Our four year old loves it! He LOVES coming here. It’s quick and keeps the car clean. It’s just easy. It’s convenient. It’s really affordable!,” stated the excited Mr. Downs.
Apple Car Wash Express has two locations – one in York and one in Red Lion – and is open seven days per week. According to the company, they average 17,300 car washes per month and reached a high of 22,684 car washes in May 2015.
