Futurecast

Southern moisture and a cold front bring more unsettled weather through the middle of the week.

WETTER DAYS AHEAD: Clouds remain in place across the region, and shower chances slowly increase as we move into the next 24 hours. A southeasterly flow is pulling moisture in from the south, bringing a few light showers to the area this evening. Some drops are still likely through the night. Overall, it’s a cloudy, mild, and muggy night withPlanner lows in the middle to upper 60s. Tuesday a cold front approaching from the west interacts with this southeast moisture feed, and keeps the shower chance alive. It’s a mainly dry start with some breaks of sunshine before showers arrive around mid afternoon. Highs are in the middle to upper 70s Tuesday.

GRADUAL COOLING: Wednesday clouds linger as we await the front’s exit from the region. There’s still the chance for some showers. Highs are in the lower to middle 70s. Overnight Wednesday, the front should finally clear the region. Thursday and Friday brings mainly cloudy skies. We are watching very minimal shower chances. Highs are in the upper 60s both days.

NEXT WEEKEND: Saturday brings a much cooler day, with readings falling into the lower to middle 60s! We’ll be watching for shower chances too. There’s a lot of uncertainty in the long term, so we’ll be watching shower chances for Sunday through early next week as well. Temperatures remain below average.

Have a great night!
