BLOOMING GROVE, Pa. –An exit off I-84 in Pike County is now the “Corporal Bryon K. Dickson II” exit. Exit 30 was renamed in honor of the state trooper killed in an ambush at the state police barracks about a mile from the exit last year. Dickson was 38, a Marine Corps vet and father of two. Another trooper, Alex Douglass, was shot in the attack, but survived.

Eric Frein, the suspect in Dickson’s murder, led police on a 48-day manhunt before being captured in an abandoned airplane hangar. Frein has pleaded not guilty.
