Lancaster City stabbing victim dies

LANCASTER, Pa. – The victim in a Lancaster City stabbing has died. It happened at about 12:50 pm in the 400 block of Lafayette Street.

stabbing#2IMG_8961Officers who responded to the scene found an unresponsive 30 year old man bleeding from a severe laceration.  The victim was transported to Lancaster General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are interviewing a person of interest in the case. Investigators the stabbing was not a random incident and there is no threat to the community.
