LANCASTER, Pa. - The Salvation Army is providing coats, hats and gloves to people in Lancaster.

They're handing out winter gear to those in need at the South Queen Street location. They want to make sure people stay warm this winter.

Captain Timothy Sheehan says "We've been told by families coming through that this is huge for them ... they're having to balance and struggle with balancing budgets. It's always nice to see folks going out the door knowing now they're set for winter."

The Salvation Army will be handing out the winter clothes from October 5th thru October 7th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
