LATIMORE TOWNSHIP, Pa.–An Adams County man is facing criminal charges after investigators found child pornography at his home which also ran as an unlicensed daycare, according to the Adams County District Attorney’s office.
Roger Lee Sostar III, 23, of Latimore Township, is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, 10 counts of distribution of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility. Sostar was arraigned Thursday and taken to Adams County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Investigators executed a search warrant on Thursday at Sostar’s home located along 70 Ridge Road and seized computers. An analysis of Sostar’s computer showed images and video of children engaging in sexual acts with adults, prosecutors said.
Authorities added that an unlicensed daycare was also operating out of Sostar’s home. At least three children were present during the execution of the search warrant.
Prosecutors expect to file additional charges against Sostar as the investigation continues.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 14.
