MANCHESTER TWP., Pa. - Folks in York County are getting an important lesson in fire safety and having fun while doing it!

It's all part of the 2nd Annual York Fire Muster at Cousler Park.

Sunday's event had no shortage of fun!

Kids played lots of games, aimed at teaching them all about fire prevention.

People could also get their hands on some antique firefighting equipment and check out some cool fire trucks.

Organizers say the event is a great way for the community to show their support for our local firefighters.

The York Fire Muster dates back to the 1700's, when one fire company would hold a muster and invite their neighboring fire companies and the community to join in.

The last fire Muster in York County was held in 1964.

Last year, a group called 'The Old Fire Farts of York County PA' decided to bring the tradition back to the area.
