York County man arrested on rape charges involving two minor girls

DILLSBURG, Pa. – Carroll Township Police charged Dwayne Pope, 41, of the 400 block of Range End Road, Dillsburg with Rape of a Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Aggravated Assault, Indecent Assault and Corruptions of a Minor.

The charges stem from an investigation into the assault of two victims that occurred when they were eight and nine years of age. The two victims are now eighteen and nineteen years of age. It is alleged that Pope had sexually assaulted the two victims at Popes residence.
