BATTLE CREEK, Mich.– Kellogg’s will soon offer five new flavors of Pop-Tarts.
For people who like bacon with their bacon, the wait is almost over. The new maple and bacon flavored Pop-Tart will come with salt and smokey flavored “crunchlets.” It will be available in December, but just for a limited time.
Also out in December, limited edition frosted watermelon and frosted chocolatey caramel.
Pink lemonade Pop-Tarts will hit store shelves in April and a limited edition frosted spring strawberry comes out early next year. These new strawberry Pop-Tarts will come with a cartoon painted into the frosting.
Pop-Tarts were first made in 1964 with four simple flavors, blueberry, strawberry, brown sugar cinnamon, and apple currant.
Since then, Kellogg’s has released more than two dozen flavors, including s’mores and PB&J.
