HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.– A four-year old boy was killed in a crash on Saturday morning in Adams County.

The accident was reported around 11:30 a.m. on Route 15, between the East Berlin and York Springs exits. State Police say it happened when the driver, 39-year old Jazmine Correa, of Gaithersburg, MD., was traveling north and left her lane of travel. She tried to correct her steering, which resulted in the vehicle hitting the center guard rail and overturning onto its roof. Upon impact, the boy was ejected through the rear driver’s side window and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four other occupants in the car suffered minor injuries. Those hurt include, the front passenger, 35-year old Carlos Tucto, also of Gaithersburg and three juveniles, ages 15, 13 and 6.

Both the north and southbound lanes of Route 15 were closed for several hours. The accident is still under investigation.
