DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are looking for potential recruits. PSP hosted a "Get to Know Us" day at the State Police Academy in Derry Township, Dauphin County for anyone interested in a career on the police force.

Troopers gave tours, provided demonstrations of their workout routine, and spoke about what it takes to become a trooper.

"This is always great when we have the public that wants to interact with law enforcement, " Trooper Aaron Hunt said. "Not just for the Pennsylvania State Police, but for all law enforcement. We're actually overwhelmed by how many people came out today. We really do appreciate it."
