Man charged in Lebanon County heroin overdose death

LEBANON, Pa.–A Lebanon County man was arrested Tuesday and charged with causing the drug-overdose death of a 23-year-old man with heroin he allegedly sold him, authorities said.

Anthony L. Spencer Jr., 27, of Richland, is charged with possession with intent to deliver and drug delivery resulting in death.  He was arraigned and taken to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $550,000 bail.

According to Pennsylvania State Police reports, Spencer supplied heroin to Shawn Dissinger Kemble, 23, of Myerstown, in August. Kemble later died of a heroin overdose, investigators said.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 11.
