CONEWAGO TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A one-year-old girl was hospitalized after being run over by a vehicle in York County on Tuesday morning, according to Northern York County Regional Police reports.
It happened along the 2500 block of Millcreek Road in Conewago Township around 8 a.m.
The child’s caregiver told authorities she forgot to put the one-year-old in the vehicle. While backing out, the driver felt a thump and immediately stopped. The baby was found laying in the driveway.
Three other children were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident, police said.
The injured child was initially taken to York Hospital and then flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment.
No other information was immediately available.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
