Police investigate attempted burglaries in Upper Allen Township

UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Upper Allen Township Police are investigating attempted burglaries that have been happening in the township since August.

According to police, on Tuesday night a young man tried to get inside a home and he may be the same person who has attempted other burglaries in the township.

The incident happened along the 1000 block of Lancaster Boulevard. It may be similar to prowler incidents that happened in Upper Allen and Lower Allen Township police said.

Police say the unknown person tried to get into an exterior patio around 10:30 p.m. The resident saw him fleeing toward Nanroc Drive and described him as a young man with a thin build, about 6’4″ tall, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Police reminded residents to be aware of their surroundings at all times and to keep all vehicles and homes locked and secured. If you see anyone or anything suspicious, call 911 immediately.
