Driver identified in fatal car accident in Conoy Township

CONOY TOWNSHIP, Pa – One man is dead after his vehicle slammed into a utility pole in Lancaster County.

Susquehanna Regional Police say 25-year-old Travis Stauffer of Bainbridge, was traveling north along Route 441 just before 6:00 a.m. Thursday when, for unknown reasons, crossed into the south lane and slammed into a utility pole.

Stauffer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the crash.
