Halloween is a night for kids to dress up and go trick-or-treating, but sometimes children let down their guard when candy is involved.

YouTuber Coby Persin, the man behind the Facebook friend experiments that lured young girls to meet with boys they didn’t know, and pulled in 40 million views — has devised this latest test of kids’ safety sense: using parents willing to bring their costume-clad children to a Brooklyn home.

With cameras rolling, kids were more than willing to walk right into a stranger’s home, even going all the way down to the basement in search of candy.

The children were scared once they realized what they had done, but it was their mothers who were truly horrified.

With the popularity of Persin’s social luring experiment videos, it looks like parents are need to keep the safety conversation going.
