October ends with a chilly Halloween forecast

Friday is a cooler day with plenty of sunshine. You can expect highs in the 50s.




COOLER WITH SUN: High pressure is moving into the region, and this brings cooler, but sunnier conditions for Friday. The morning has a bit of a chill, with some passing clouds as well. Some light breezes kick up at times too. Then, the afternoon is mostly sunny. Expect afternoon high temperatures in the lower to middle 50s. Temperatures fall rapidly through the evening. It’s chilly through the night and mostly clear. Overnight low temperatures fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

OCTOBER ENDS COOL: Saturday begins with plenty of sunshine. Some clouds build during the late afternoon, but the Halloween forecast looks good for trick-or-treaters. It’s chilly with partly clear skies. Afternoon high temperatures are in the middle to upper 50s. SSpecialunday is a bit milder, and it’s cloudier too. There’s an isolated shower chance. Highs are in the lower 60s. Don’t forget Daylight Saving Time comes to an end early Sunday morning. Push the clocks back one hour before bed Saturday night. It’s also a great time to check/change batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors!



NEXT WEEK: Clouds break up slowly moving into the new work week. Some do hang on Monday, and there could even be a stray shower or two. Tuesday is dry with partly cloudy skies. Wednesday and Thursday bring plenty of sunshine. Highs are in the middle 60s Monday, and then rise into the middle to upper 60s for Tuesday. Readings are near the 70 degree mark both Wednesday and Thursday!
