KENNETT SQUARE, Pa.– Police in Chester County, Pennsylvania say someone put needles into some candy that was given to trick-or-treaters.

Investigators say the sewing needles were found in five Twix bars that had been handed out to children in Kennett Square. It is unclear if someone in the neighborhood is responsible, or a worker in the food distribution process.

Investigators are asking anyone with any information to come forward.
They are also advising parents in all communities to check any candy before giving it to their children.
