Lititz woman dies after being hit by vehicle while walking dog

LITITZ, Pa.–A 55-year-old woman died after she was struck by a vehicle while walking her dog in Lititz on Monday evening, authorities said.

Karen Grover, of Lititz, was struck as she crossed the 400 block of Woodcrest Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Grover was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where she later died.

Grover’s dog was treated at a local animal hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators said the 83-year-old driver who hit Grover is cooperating with with police. So far, no charges have been filed.
