YORK, Pa. - Rivals put aside their differences to raise funds for the Pennsylvania Wounded Warrior Project.  Saturday, at 5:00, the puck dropped as the York Devils Bantam AA team took on the Lancaster Firebirds. Tickets to the game were $10.00 with all proceeds going to PAWW.  Raffles and door prizes also helped to raise funds.  The Devils coach, Garrett Schultz came up with the idea for the game. He serves in the Army National Guard and wanted to show his players life is about more than a game.

"I wanted them to get a sense of something bigger than themselves and serve a purpose more than just playing hockey. So that this seasons is something special to them and they remember it as long as they can," said Schultz.

The teams tied 3-3 which means everyone is a winner.  They were able to raise right around $4,000.
