Showers arrive tonight, soggy Tuesday ahead

DAMP & DREARY TUESDAY: An area of low pressure traveling up the coast has brought clouds to our region this afternoon. Showers move in soon enough with this system. In the meantime, the evening is mainly dry. A few drops are possible closer to midnight, but the brunt of the shower activity does not move in until the overnight period. That’s when the showers overspread. It’s a mild night, with low temperatures in the 40s. Showers continue through Tuesday, making for a sloppy morning and evening commute. It’s cloudy and cool, but seasonably so. Afternoon high temperatures are in the middle 50s. The showers are expected to end Tuesday evening.

ANOTHER SHOWER CHANCE: Wednesday, also Veterans Day, the region is in-between systems. Skies are partly cloudy, with highs near 60 degrees. Thursday our next cold front brings the chance for showers. Highs are in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

END OF WEEK CHILL: On Friday, some sunshine returns for the morning. Chilly air aloft slides in during the afternoon, and this brings some clouds. Highs are seasonable in the middle 50s. The chilliest of the air sits overtop of us through Saturday. Expect plenty of clouds, and a few lake effect sprinkles and flakes could make it into our northwestern most areas. Highs are very chilly, in the middle to upper 40s. More sunshine returns for both Sunday and Monday. Temperatures moderate into the 50s Sunday and near 60 degrees on Monday.

Have a great night!
