SUNNY SUNDAY

Slightly warmer in the week ahead

Sunday starts the week with mostly sunny skies under a dome of high pressure – which means a pleasant fall day is in store to round out the second half of the weekend. Temperatures will certainly feel warmer with only a light west-northwest wind, reaching an afternoon high near 58 degrees.

UNSETTLED MIDWEEK

Slightly warmer in the week ahead

Milder temperatures return in the week ahead with dry conditions to start. Monday and Tuesday will feature plenty of sunshine with highs near the 60 degree mark. As high pressure slides east midweek, low pressure getting organized across the central U.S. will strengthen and push a front eastward. Ahead of this system, clouds start to move in and we warm into the 60s for Wednesday and Thursday. The front crosses our region Thursday. At this point, showers should arrive late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning. Temperatures fall back toward seasonal readings into the week’s end.
