One person killed in York County crash

PARADISE TOWNSHIP, Pa.– One person was killed in a car crash in York County on Sunday evening.

It happened just before 7:30 p.m. on West Canal Road, near Short Road in Paradise Township. Police at the scene say the driver of a maroon car lost control, went up an embankment and overturned. The driver was trapped inside the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s office says no autopsy will be performed.

The victim’s name has not been released at this time. Northern York County Regional Police are still investigating.
