UPDATE: Cumberland County dispatch says Young returned home Monday night.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – Lower Allen Township Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly female. Carol Young, 91, from Carlisle was last seen in Lower Allen
Township around 11:00 a.m. Monday. She had dropped her husband and an appointment and was to be going to the McDonalds on Wesley Drive for lunch.
Mrs. Young is 5’ 2” in height, with white hair, hazel eyes and glasses. She was possibly wearing dark colored clothing. She was driving a 2006 Ford Fusion, gray in color, with PA registration #07650PD.
After posting information on Social Media, police learned she had stopped in a driveway on S. Market St (PA 114) in Upper Allen Township around 2:30-3:00 Monday afternoon. She was asking for directions to a doctor’s office in Mechanicsburg, but didn’t know the name. She was last seen heading towards Mechanicsburg Borough.
