HARRISBURG, Pa. – Police have an arrest warrant for a Harrisburg woman who allegedly attempted to kill a Life Team EMS who had responded to a domestic assault call at a Hall Manor apartment.  The incident began at about 10:38 pm Wednesday at 17 I Hall Manor.

Life Team EMS personnel arrived at the apartment before police. While they were attempting to contact and treat the victim, a 68 year old man, they were confronted by Juanee D. Crawford.

Holding a knife in her hand, Crawford screamed at EMS Personnel “I’m going to kill you”. She then lunged at a male EMS stabbing him in the chest and slashing at him near the waist.  Fortunately he was wearing a vest with a metal trauma plate. The blade of the knife did not penetrate the vest.  Crawford continued slashing at him causing damage to a radio holder and belt.

The EMS was not injured and was able to fight Crawford off.  She ran away prior to police arriving on the scene.

A warrant has been obtained charging Crawford with Criminal Attempt Homicide.  Police say she should be considered dangerous. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is eligible for a reward up to $2,000 and should contact Crime Stoppers of Dauphin County at 1-800-262-3080. You can also call Dauphin County Police Dispatch at (717) 558-6900 and ask for a city detective.
