LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – An attempt at a private sale of personal cell phone ends with the arrest of two robbery suspects.   On Wednesday, November 11. East Lampeter Township Police responded to the Wal-Mart parking lot, at 2034 Lincoln Highway East, for a strong arm robbery of a cell phone that just occurred. A female victim reported that she had placed a cell phone for sale on a Facebook Yard Sale site.

A male answered the ad and they agreed to meet in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The victim was met by two hispanic males.

One of the men reached into her car and forced the phone out of her hands. Both suspects then ran from the scene in the direction of the nearby Greenland Village.

ELTPD detectives and patrol officers located the suspects at a residence in the 500 block of Greenland Drive. They were identified as Jose Padille-Alvarez, 27, and Anthony Perez, 18, both of Greenland Drive.

They were both charged with Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
