Crews search for missing Lancaster County hunter in Cameron County

GIBSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Rescue teams are looking for a missing Lancaster County hunter who hasn’t been seen since Monday in Cameron County.

Linwood D. Walters, 61, of Bainbridge, was last seen leaving his hunting cabin along Hemlock Lane near Wykoff Run Road in Gibson Township around 5 a.m. Monday. He never returned. Walters is longtime member of the Conoy Township Zoning Hearing Board.

Approximately 15 agencies consisting of 100 personnel, including the Department of Conservation and Natural resources and Pennsylvania State Police, are assisting in the search efforts.

Crews are focusing on a 3-mile radius off Wykoff Run Road.
