Drier for Thursday, but plentiful clouds remain

DRYING OUT: A storm system is slowly passing through, making for a soggy Wednesday. However, as the system exits, we’ll see drier conditions work into the region. Showers wrap up through the evening, and chillier air slips in through the night. The clouds slowly break apart, leaving partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows fall into the middle to upper 30s. Thursday is much drier for the area. Expect partly sunny skies as a cool pocket of air passes through. There will be more clouds during the morning, and then again around mid afternoon. Readings are cooled in the middle 40s. Friday full sunshine returns as high pressure makes a comeback. Afternoon temperatures are seasonable, in the middle to upper 40s.

NICE WEEKEND: High pressure remains in control for the rest of the forecast period. Temperatures warm above average through the weekend, with ample amounts of sunshine. Highs are in the lower 50s Saturday, and then in the middle 50s Sunday.

NEXT WEEK: The nice stretch of weather lasts into early as well. Plenty of sunshine is expected Monday and Tuesday. Highs remain above seasonal averages in the lower 50s through early next week. We’ll be keeping an eye on our next system for the middle of the week. For now, it looks to just pass us to the south on Wednesday. We’ll monitor the potential for showers over the next several days.

Have a great night!
