Three Mile Island siren test scheduled for today

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Three Mile Island nuclear power plant will be conducting an emergency siren test on Thursday.

The plant has a total of  96 sirens.  All  sirens will sound at 12:15 p.m. for three minutes.

Sirens in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York counties should sound at that time.

The test is the second of two semi-annual tests in 2015.
