Police investigate home invasion in Lititz

LITITZ, Pa.–Police are investigating a home invasion that happened in Lancaster County on Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 800 block of Log Cabin Road in Lititz around 12:50 p.m. for a reported burglary in progress.

The homeowner called police after an unidentified man knocked on their door and walked into their home. The resident told investigators that man fled after he rummaged through a desk. Nothing was taken from the home.

He was reportedly dropped off by a woman driving a red sports car.

Police stopped a car similar to the description provided by the homeowner on Weidler Lane with two people inside.

The investigation is ongoing.
