Police investigate packages being stolen in Steelton

STEELTON, PA- Steelton police are investigating the theft of items stolen from a resident’s home on Friday.

According to police, the victim, who lives on the 100 block of South 4th Street, told officers she woke up Saturday morning and found multiple empty boxes in her backyard.

Police say the victim  called the U.S. Post Office and confirmed these boxes were from items she had ordered, which were delivered to her home around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Steelton police are asking anyone with information about the theft to contact Patrolman Scott Schaeffer, 717-939-9840, or by email.
