YORK, COUNTY Pa- Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on the York College campus early Sunday morning, according to a notice sent to the college’s community.
According to the notice, around 1:30 a.m., an unidentified female reported to college officials that she was assaulted in a campus residence building by a male student. The male student was also unidentified.
The campus safety office confirmed that the college’s Department of Campus Safety and the York City Police Department are investigating.
Students are urged to remain vigilant, be aware of their surroundings, travel in groups and avoid isolation, according to the notice.
