Unseasonably mild trend this week

We start out the week just slightly above normal highs and lows for this time of year. The period is also relatively quiet as we head into the second week of December. It’s definitely a good week to head to the car wash, or to get a few last minute outdoor fall clean-up chores completed. Look for a repeat of Sunday for our forecast on Monday with a few areas of patchy fog in the morning and afternoon highs near 50 degrees. We receive one more near-seasonable day on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 40s.

As we head into midweek, a weak disturbance slides in from the upper Midwest bringing increased cloudiness. There isn’t much moisture for this system to work with, so rain chances are limited to only a few drops during the overnight hours Wednesday night into the early AM hours Thursday.

Unseasonably mild trend this week

High pressure quickly builds back in Thursday and for the remainder of the week with dry and unseasonably mild conditions. Saturday and Sunday are looking 10-15 degrees above seasonable normal with highs in the mid to upper 50s! All good things come to an end though Sunday night with increasing cloudiness and a chance for showers.

Have a great week and be sure to get out and enjoy the mild December weather while it’s here!
