INDIANAPOLIS, In. - All one Indianapolis boy wants for Christmas is a card from you! According to FOX59, 8-year-old Jack Weaver has been diagnosed with a genetic condition called Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome, which affects his growth and has led to other health issues including seizures.
Jack's parents say it has been a pretty tough year for their son, so they want to cheer him up. A friend came up with the idea to send Jack Christmas cards and the idea has taken off.
He's received cards from all over the country and he's hoping to get more.
"It really just kind of grew organically and overnight in a huge, huge way," Jack's mother, Shannon Weaver said. "We've been just so grateful for all the cards and all the responses we`ve gotten and jack has been just thrilled by it too."
