LANCASTER, Pa.–A 45-year-old man is recovering after he was stabbed in Lancaster city early Wednesday morning.
It happened along the 200 block of West King Street around 3:26 a.m. Officers found the victim, suffering from multiple cuts and stab wounds, at the intersection of North Mulberry and West King Street. The man told police he was stabbed with a folding pocket knife by 25-year-old Francis M. Anglero-Rivera following an argument.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police said his injuries are very serious, but he is expected to survive.
Anglero-Rivera was arrested at the scene. He is charged with aggravated assault and was taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
