If you’re traveling along the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge anytime soon, you may recognize a familiar face.

‘Santa D,’ also known as Bobby D from the SOX Wake Up Crew on 96.1 SOX, has been camping out at the bridge since Monday afternoon in hopes of spreading some holiday cheer.

It’s all part of their 18th annual ‘Toys for Tots’ campaign.

‘Santa D’ will be collecting new, unwrapped toys 24 hours a day, until Friday at 6:00 p.m.

Their goal is to collect 5,000 toys for children in Lancaster and York Counties.

The donation drop off site will be located on the Columbia side of the bridge.

On Saturday, December 12 donations will also be accepted at Toys R Us on Harrisburg Pike in Lancaster as well as West Manchester Town Center in York.
