SWATARA, TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A 16-year-old boy suffered a blow to the head when he opened his door on Tuesday.

According to police, as  the door opened,  a black male dressed in black clothing entered the home, struck the teenager and stole cash and a video game system before taking off.

Before the robbery the suspect had knocked on the Chestnut Point apartment’s door in the 3600 block of Chambers Hill Road. The male then ran in an unknown direction and officers were actively investigating the incident Tuesday evening police said.

The teenager was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
