LOWER WINDSOR TWP., Pa. -- As soon as you turn onto Craley Road in Lower Windsor Township in York County, the light show hits you.

The Lau Family -- Jason, wife Desiree, and daughter Madison -- have worked for the last six months on their epic Christmas season decorations. Thousands of lights, strewn out across two lawns, their home, a separate garage, and even an old Volkswagen Beetle. One display has flashing lights moving to the tune of Christmas tunes.

Surprisingly, Jason Lau says the electric bill isn't too high, but the family is raising money anyway.

Don't worry, it's not for them.

Jason says his family is fortunate enough to be on sound financial ground. Unfortunately, he cannot say the same for a handful of kids in the community, and thousands of others around the country.

That's why the Lau's are raising money for the St. Jude Children's Hospital. As part of their Christmas light display, they've left a bucket in front of their lawn. It reads, "All Donations go to Less Fortunate Kids or St. Judes Hospital."

"I always think, 'What if my child was in that situation or myself?'" Lau said. "I really like how they go about finding cures, helping families, and family is most important to me."

The Lau's have also started a GoFundMe account, which can be visited through this link: https://www.gofundme.com/m2cwzwf8.

Their goal is to reach $1,000. A portion of the money raised will go towards buying gifts for a handful of needy kids Jason says his family takes in around the holidays.
