CAMP HILL, Pa. — A Harrisburg woman is facing charges after police said she stole more than $15,000 from a nursing home resident living in Camp Hill.

Stephanie Swinney, 54, is charged with forgery, theft by deception and receiving stolen property. She was arraigned on Nov. 24 and remains free on $5,000 bail.

The thefts occurred between March and July of 2015, according to a news release from the East Pennsboro Township Police Department. Swinney is accused of forging checks from a resident living at the Golden Living Center located along the first block of Erford Road in Camp Hill.  Police said Swinney stole more than $15,000 from the victim.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 25.
