LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa — A Lancaster Township man is behind bars charged with raping his girlfriend. The victim told police that Todd Somerfield, 21, of Yardley Green forced her to have sex with him at his home early Wednesday morning.
Later in the day, the woman reported the incident to Manheim Township Police. Somerfield was arrested and arraigned today on two counts of Rape and Sexual Assault.
Following arraignment Somerfield was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
