LANCASTER, Pa. – A Lancaster City man, wanted in connection with a shooting incident in Ephrata Borough last month, is taken into custody. Omar Anglero Colon, Jr., 26 was wanted by the Ephrata Police Department on Aggravated Assault and other charges for his alleged involvement in a November 9th shooting.

The incident happen just 12:30 pm in the 200 block of Church Avenue in the Borough. Colon reportedly fighting with another man.  As the man walked away, Colon allegedly fire one shot at him with a handgun.  The man wasn’t injured. Colon fled the scene before police arrived.

Colon was arrested by Lancaster City Police on Thursday and turned over to Ephrata Police.  Following arraignment Colon was sent to the Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
