HARRISBURG, Pa. - The public received a special treat ahead of the holidays-- a look inside the Governor's Residence in Harrisburg. Governor Tom Wolf and First Lady Frances Wolf opened the Front Street residence as part of Historic Harrisburg's annual Candlelight House Tour.

During the holiday open house, visitors go to enjoy holiday decorations and even a chat with Santa Claus.

Inside, ornaments created by Pennsylvania's elementary school kids were on display-- spreading holiday cheer ahead of Christmas.

"The place looks really beautiful," Governor Wolf said, "there's some great music, so it's just a nice thing to do. I'm enjoying it, and I hope the people here are enjoying it to."

Visitors were encouraged to drop off gifts for Toys for Tots and fill out holiday cards for local veterans.
