(CNN)– A man wielding two handguns was shot and killed at a Walmart in Northeastern Pennsylvania on Saturday night, authorities said.

The man walked into the store in East Stroudsburg late last night and started pointing a gun at people, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Stroud Area Regional Police were called to the scene. Officers arrived and told the man to drop his gun, but he refused and pointed his weapon at police.

Officers shot the man in the upper chest area. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

No officers or anyone else at the Walmart was injured, state police said.

The gunman has been identified as 20-year old Andrew Joseph Todd, of Northampton County.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the officer-involved shooting.
