Franklin County men wanted on attempted murder charges

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. – Chambersburg Police have arrest warrants for two men in a weekend assault and shooting. Police responded at about 9:44 am on Saturday to a call to from a home on Butternut Lane.

Through the course of their investigation, police learned that Jose Martinez, was assaulted at his residence on the 400  block of W. Washington Street by two men identified as Josean Cedano-Velez, 22, and Edwin Perez, 24, both of Chambersburg.

The victim also claimed he was shot at during the assault. Martinez was treated for his non-life threatening injuries at Chambersburg Hospital.

Police are on the lookout for both suspects. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Cedano-Velez and/or Perez is asked to call Chambersburg Police at (717) 264-4131 or Franklin County Crime Solvers at (717) 263-3000.
