Cash reward for information leading to arrest of suspect in York City robberies

YORK, Pa. – York City Police seek help in identifying a suspect in a pair of recent robberies. The first robbery happen on December 10 at about 6 pm at the Turkey Hill, 189 South Richland Avenue. The suspect got away with some cash. Then on Tuesday December 15 at 5;30 pm, police believe the same man attempted to rob the Exxon at 1000 West Market Street. Nothing was taken.

suspect2thumb_Fullscreen_capture_12162015_121855_PMThe suspect was also seen twice inside the CVS located at 165 S. Richland Avenue just prior to the Turkey Hill Robbery on December 10. He attempted to conceal his identity inside that business too but left both times after waiting at the counter for short period of time.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male with a husky build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark colored ball hat and gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 755-TIPS or text “Yorktips” at 847411. Tips can also be called in directly to the York City Police Department at 846-1234.  All information can remain anonymous and a cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in either case.
