YORK, Pa. – York City Police seek help in identifying a suspect in a pair of recent robberies. The first robbery happen on December 10 at about 6 pm at the Turkey Hill, 189 South Richland Avenue. The suspect got away with some cash. Then on Tuesday December 15 at 5;30 pm, police believe the same man attempted to rob the Exxon at 1000 West Market Street. Nothing was taken.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male with a husky build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark colored ball hat and gray sweatpants.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 755-TIPS or text “Yorktips” at 847411. Tips can also be called in directly to the York City Police Department at 846-1234. All information can remain anonymous and a cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in either case.
