Aircraft makes “hard” landing in Lebanon

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. - Four people suffered non-life threatening injuries when their airplane crash landed in Lebanon County. It happen at about 5:35 pm near Deck Airport 398 S. Ramona Road, in Jackson Township, near Myerstown, Lebanon County.

The single engine Beechcraft aircraft apparently lost power shortly after takeoff and made a hard landing in a nearby field.  The pilot and three passengers were headed to a business meeting in New Jersey.

National Transportation Safety Board inspectors will be on the scene on Tuesday to begin determining what caused the plane to lose power. The plane will remain in the field overnight.
