TRAVELING WEDNESDAY
If you are traveling Wednesday, one area that may see severe weather will be the Tennessee Valley. Showers and thunderstorms will be very likely. Showers continue across the northeast, and temperatures remain well above average. It will feel more like Christmas in the northern Rockies, where snow is likely along with very cold temperatures. Coast of California, portions of the desert southwest and southern Florida, can expect sunshine and dry conditions for the day.

A few showers are possible for Thursday but there will also be plenty of dry hours and peaks of sunshine. Christmas Day, starts out dry and most of the afternoon remains rain free. Highs will still be mild near 60 degrees. Showers do return towards evening and threat remains over the weekend.
