Robbery suspects nabbed in Maryland

STEWARTSTOWN, Pa. —  Police tracked down three suspects in the robbery of a Rutter’s Farm Store last week in Stewartstown. The vehicle allegedly used by the robbers was spotted by State Police near Fawn Grove yesterday. Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle but the suspects fled and the vehicle was pursued into Harford County, MD.

The vehicle eventually became disabled and the male driver fled on foot. The passenger was taken into custody and the driver that fled on foot was located after a search and taken into custody. Both suspects are in custody on other related crimes and charges are pending for the Rutter’s robbery. Southern Regional Detectives interviewed both subjects at the Harford Co. Sheriff’s Office and a search warrant was served at a residence in Pennsylvania. Charges are also pending against a 3rd suspect in the robbery. The vehicle used in the robbery was seized and in custody of Southern Regional Police.
